Eydenn places the highest importance on protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we protect it, and your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect
- Account data: first/last name, email, phone, country, password (encrypted).
- Booking data: stay dates, property, amount, travelers.
- Payment data: processed directly by our secure provider Stripe. Eydenn never stores your card numbers.
- Identity data (optional): passport information, only if you choose to provide it with your explicit consent.
- Usage data: reviews, favorites, messages exchanged with properties.
- Technical data: cookies necessary for the website to function (see section 7).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Manage your account and bookings (performance of contract).
- Process payments and payouts (performance of contract).
- Provide support and security (legitimate interest).
- Send booking-related emails (performance of contract).
- Store passport data (only with your consent).
4. Retention
Your data is kept for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet our legal obligations. You may request its deletion at any time (see section 6).
5. Data sharing
Your data is never sold. It is only shared with:
- the property you book, to enable your stay;
- our strictly necessary technical providers (Stripe payment, hosting, email);
- authorities, where required by law.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
- Access and portability: export all your data from your profile ("Export my data").
- Rectification: edit your information from your profile.
- Erasure: delete your account from your profile, or on request.
- Objection and withdrawal of consent: notably for passport data.
To exercise these rights, use the tools in your profile or write to eydenn.af@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
7. Cookies
Eydenn uses cookies necessary for the website to function (session, preferences, security). A banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies on your first visit.
8. Security
We implement technical measures to protect your data: encrypted passwords, secure connections (HTTPS), payments outsourced to a PCI-DSS certified provider, and strict access controls.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated. Any significant change will be announced on the site. The last update date appears at the top of this page.
